The Smoke Wagon™ model features a forged case hardened steel frame, blued steel parts, a checkered Navy size grip with a thinner profile, and a low-sitting hammer. The Taylor Tuned Smoke Wagon comes ready to shoot out of the box featuring a hand polished action and our custom springs. For mounted shooters if extra forcing cone clearance is needed this service must be requested when placing an order. Taylor's gunsmiths custom tune guns specifically for each order. This means that if a standard gun is in stock then we can tune it for your order if we do not have a tuned gun already showing in stock!

The thin profile grip on the SmokeWagon is a just-right feel for quick handling and easy maneuvering. The grip ergonomics on the SmokeWagon were first of its kind as a revolver made for the modern sportsmen in mind.
Versatile Caliber Options & Barrel Lengths
Initially introduce in .357Mag and .45LC - the SmokeWagon is also manufactured in limited batches of .44-40.
A balanced 5.5" barrel or a shorter 4.75" barrel are the most popular configurations suitable for competition or a fun range day. Occasionally a 3.5" length is in stock for a more compact size.
