PURCHASING & ORDERING REQUIREMENTS

Black powder firearms, accessories and parts can be purchased directly through our website, over the phone, or by email. However, when purchasing through this site, you are responsible for checking if your state laws prohibit the direct sale of an item to you. Most black powder firearms can ship directly to the individual, unless your local state laws prohibit it.

If you are ordering a cartridge firearm, then an FFL Dealer (Federal Firearms License) is required to make shipment. The FFL copy must be current, signed and sent to us and include the dealer's phone number. As an individual you may purchase in several ways: your dealer of choice can contact us to make the purchase for you or you can contact us to place the order and provide the dealer of your choice for shipment where he will do the final transfer paperwork for you. You can search our Dealer Locator on this site to see if there is a Taylor's established dealer near you or use your own preferred local dealer. Any dealer can obtain their pricing over the phone when speaking to our dealer sales staff. If you choose to mail your order in, please print off the online order form and fill it out as detailed as possible. Enclose that order form with a certified money order or credit card information for the full amount of your order. Before completing your mail order you should contact Taylor's for availability, taxes, and shipping costs so that your order total is correct. ITEMS ON BACK ORDER

Taylor's website is not always able to display totally accurate availability of items due to fast moving inventory. If you have placed a web order and some items are out of stock Taylor's may ship your order partially if obtaining all the items on your order quickly is not possible or if it will not be possible to ship your order complete. If your order is shipped partially, you will be charged shipping for each shipment of your order.

Once orders are placed with the manufacturers, the delivery time may vary based on the item and various manufacturing materials availability. If you place a back order with us your credit card is not charged until merchandise is received in and ready to ship. Back orders automatically ship out when the items are back in stock. When back orders are ready to ship you will receive a notification to which you can respond with any changes to your address or payment information before the order ships out. You are required to update us with changes to your address information, contact information, and FFL dealer address for your back orders you have in place, otherwise shipments to the wrong addresses may occur at your expense. Prices are subject to change without notice on backorders.

You must contact us to request cancellation of an order. Any cancellations to a back order after merchandise is already ordered from the manufacturer will result in a 15% cancellation fee.

If you wish to monitor stock status or be notified when an item is back in stock without committing to placing a back order, you can use our other website features like the wishlist to do that.

WEB ORDER PROCESSING

Our hours are 8-5 EST Monday through Friday so orders placed other than during those hours will not be processed until the next business day. Your order status and tracking information can be seen by logging into your online account. If you ever need assistance regarding one of your orders please contact us by phone, chat, or email. Once an order is placed it could ship quickly, therefore you must contact us immediately if you need to change anything about your order after completing the checkout process.

Order statuses are mainly used for internal processing purposes. Statuses such as On Hold, Processing, Shipped, and Fully Shipped are just displaying internal system updates and could possibly not be related to whether your order shipped out or not. The Canceled status will be reflected if your order has been canceled.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Special orders are possible for many items in our product line for variations such as a different finish, caliber, or barrel length. Contact us by email or phone for a quotation. Special orders and non-stock items may require a deposit and will have a non-cancellation commitment when placing your order. Prices are subject to change without notice on all orders.

PARTS ORDERS

Taylor's carries parts for our specific manufacturer's products only. Parts are not guaranteed to fit an "original" firearm or other manufacturer's products such as Armi San Marco, Euroarms, Colt, etc. If you need assistance placing a parts order, please be prepared to provide us with general firearm information so we can best assist you. Information we need may include gun model, manufacturer, age, caliber, serial number, finish, etc.

RESIDENTS OUTSIDE THE US

Taylor's website can only process orders for US and Canada residents only. If you are from another country please contact us as some items cannot be shipped outside of the US. Please contact us by phone, chat, or email to help you place your order. If we cannot speak with you on the phone for any reason to get your card payment information please download the online order form and fill it out as detailed as possible.
