The Buntline was originally designed by Colt for Ned Buntline, writer, trader, soldier - a well known character who appeared for the first time in 1875 at the "Industrial Show" in Philadelphia creating a lot of interest. It is said that Wyatt Earp and the Dodge City Lawmen received revolvers from Ned Buntline with long barrels and shoulder stocks. This model features a round blued barrel, steel backstrap and trigger guard, walnut grip. The sights are angled front target sight and an adjustable, notched rear blade sight. Taylor Tuned.
