The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. The 1861 model contains features from both the original 1851 Navy model and the improved 1860 Army model. This 1861 revolver features a nickel steel frame, shoulder stock screws, nickel steel backstrap and triggerguard, Navy roll-engraved cylinder, checkered polymer ivory Navy size grip, and improved 1860 ratchet style loading lever. This model is photo engraved with a Custer style pattern. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .38LC ammunition.
