This 1851 Navy model features a case hardened forged steel frame, charcoal blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, octagonal barrel, and a polymer ivory Navy size grip. The Charcoal Blue finish is a delicate over-oxidized bluing and when new it is a bright blue color, but over time with use it will naturally patina to a soft grey.

The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. This 1851 Navy model features a case hardened forged steel frame, charcoal blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, octagonal barrel, and a polymer ivory Navy size grip. The Charcoal Blue finish is a delicate over-oxidized bluing and when new it is a bright blue color, but over time with use it will naturally patina to a soft grey. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .38LC ammunition.
