This sight mounting base set is made for the Pedersoli Whitworth & Volunteer rifle models. It includes a rear mount plate with a long replacement tang screw and small wood screw, and a front sight base to increase the height of the front sight that comes on the rifle. The front sight base could also be altered to accept other front sights instead of the original rifle front sight. The rear sight is compatible with pedersoli tang sights USA430, USA465, USA404, USA405, USA406, USA431 and USA461.
