PURCHASING & ORDERING REQUIREMENTS:

Black powder firearms, accessories and parts can be purchased directly through our website, over the phone, or by email.  However, when purchasing items online, we will notify you by email or phone if your state laws prohibit the direct sale of an item to you. Most black powder firearms can ship directly to the individual, unless your local state laws prohibit it. If you are ordering a cartridge firearm then an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer is required in order to make shipment. The FFL must be current, signed and sent to us by fax, email or mail and include the dealer’s phone number. As an individual you may purchase in several ways:  your dealer of choice can contact us to make the purchase for you or you can contact us to place the order and provide the dealer of your choice for shipment where he will do the final transfer/background check paperwork for you. You can search our Dealer Locator on this site to see if there is a Taylor’s established dealer near you or use your preferred local dealer. Any dealer can obtain their pricing when calling us with a current, signed copy of their FFL. If you choose to mail your order in, please print off the online order form linked below and fill it out as detailed as possible. Enclose that order form with a certified money order or credit card information for the full amount of your order. Before completing your mail order you should contact Taylor’s for availability and shipping costs so that your order total is correct. For all orders billing or shipping to a Virginia address a 5.3% Virginia Sales tax will be added to the order. 

 

ITEMS ON BACK ORDER:

Taylor’s website does not display totaly accurate availability of items due to rapidly changing inventory volume. You are quickly notified via email or phone of any order placed which is not in stock and placed on back order. At that time you can contact us if you wish to cancel the order. A back order can be cancelled at any time by you, it does not require prepayment and your credit card is not charged until you are notified the merchandise is ready to ship. Taylor's provides a complimentary back order service so that you are "in line" for the items placed on order and we can notify you when they are back in stock. When back orders are ready to ship Taylor's staff will contact you by email or phone. If we have payment information on file you will be notified that your order will be shipping out. After notification is done and you wish to cancel the order, contact Taylor's as soon as possible to confirm cancellation before the order is shipped out. If the order is shipped before you choose to cancel it you will then need to contact us to process a return of the order. If we do not have payment information on file you will be notified that information is needed for your order to ship out. If Taylor's does not receive the needed information after multiple attempts to contact you we will automatically cancel the order.

Special orders and non-stock items may require a deposit and will have a non-cancellation commitment when placing your order. If this applies to the item(s) you have purchased you will be notified by email or phone and you can confirm or cancel your order at that time. Once the order is placed with the manufacturer the delivery time may vary based on the item availability.

If you have placed a web order and some items are out of stock Taylor's may ship your order partially if obtaining all the items on your order quickly is not possible or if it will not be possible to ship your order complete. Taylor's does not hold items to ship at a later date to complete orders. If your order is shipped partially you will be charged shipping for each shipment of your order and Taylor's will adjust your order to ship by the cheapest method. 

 

WEB ORDER PROCESSING:

Our hours are 8 – 5 Eastern time Monday through Friday so orders placed other than during those hours will not be processed until the next business day. Your order status can be seen by checking your order number online with the link provided by email:  Pending- order is not processing yet; Processing – order is being processed for shipment; On Hold – further information is needed about your order or your order has been changed to a back order status; and Complete – order is shipped and tracking information is provided by email to you. When placing an online order you will receive an email confirmation and an additional email confirmation when your order changes to a processing status by us. Standard processing time is from 1 to 2 days so please consider this when placing your order and selecting shipping methods. If you place an order and need it expedited please contact us immediately by phone so we can assist you. If your order processing is delayed for any reason such Taylor's will contact you by email or phone to keep you updated. 

 

SPECIAL ORDERS:

Special orders are possible for many items in our product line, i.e. a different finish, caliber, barrel length.  Contact us by email or phone for a quotation.  A 50% non-refundable deposit may be required.

 

PARTS ORDERS:

Taylor’s carries parts for our specific manufacturer’s products only.  Parts are not guaranteed to fit an “original” firearm or other manufacturer’s products such as Armi San Marco, Euroarms, Colt, etc. Carefully check the schematic and double check your quantities in your cart before checking out. If you need assistance contact us and be prepared to provide the model of your gun, the manufacturer, and the item description from the schematic that you need. If we cannot determine your gun model over the phone we will request photos of your model to be emailed to us.

 

SHIPPING:

The costs of shipping visible at checkout are not always an exact estimate. Due to residential zoning and items purchased that can have extra fees for shipping (i.e. ammo, caps, or large/heavy items), the shipping cost can change. If your shipping cost changes you will be notified by email or phone for your approval. Some orders of small parts will be mailed out at Taylor’s discretion to save you money. Taylor’s will not ship any cartridge or blackpowder firearm through USPS or without a signature required. Taylor’s uses Fedex, UPS, and the USPS for shipping methods. If some items are out of stock for your order and your order is shipped partially you will be charged shipping for each shipment of your order.

 

PAYMENT METHODS: 

Taylor's accepts payment via credits cards and money orders from retail consumers and FFL dealers. We do not accept personal checks for payment. If you send in a personal check for any order your shipment will not be processed until it is verified that your check has cleared, which can take up to three weeks depending on your bank. Dealers can be approved for account terms upon completion and approval of a credit application.

 

RESIDENTS & COMPANIES OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES:

Our site only processes orders for Canada and USA residents only. If you are from another country and would like to purchase an item please contact us by email or phone to place your order. All internationally shipped orders may be subject to export or AES customs fees which apply per each shipment. If your order qualifies for these additional fees you will be notified by phone or email for your approval.
