The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. This 1851 London model features a case hardened forged steel frame, blued parts, steel backstrap and triggerguard, octagonal barrel, and a varnished Navy grip. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .38LC ammunition. Received this gun in 3 days! At first I was worried because the outer box was very badly beaten up, three holes in the outer box. UPS is really very rough with packages but the inner box was ok.
