Brown Bess Carbine Kit Flintlock 30.5" .75
Between 1756 and 1813 the English 'Board of Directors' required the production of shorter versions of the regular infantry musket. The barrel's lengths varied from 26" to 37", equipping the corps of the Dragoons, the Grenadiers, the Royal Horse-Guards and the Artillery, as well as some volunteers corps. This reproduced carbine is inspired by this series and keeps the same features of the Brown Bess, like the walnut stock oil finish and the satin finish of the barrel. The kit contains finished and unfinished parts so you can complete the assembly yourself.

The KIT gun version has been previously assembled, the barrel is not blued but it goes through an antirust treatment, the lock is assembled and finished, the stock needs to be smoothed, checkered, colored and oil finished, the metal furniture needs to be polished.
