I purchased this as I always wanted a carbine confederate musket. When I received it, unboxed it, I was extremely surprised. I did expect a quality product, but this particular musket was beyond my expectations. Outstanding fit and finish! The stock was absolutely beautiful with burl, and in walnut. Upon shooting it, well, I couldn't be more pleased. Using 55gr 2Fg black powder I easily group shots in 2" at 50 yards. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this musket to anyone.
