These versatile firearms allow for easy transition from black powder to centerfire cartridges. The original frames were dovetailed to allow the ejector assembly to slide into place. The loading lever screw, passing through from the left side of the frame, secured the ejector assembly. A small notch was cut into the loading lever to allow a rest for the "L" shaped tip of the ejector rod.
