1892 Winchester Takedown 357 Mag Review by Allen

I have had this rifle for about a year. The rifle looks beautiful. The finish on the metal is fantastic. The walnut stock looks great. The rifle has the 24" barrel and when taken down, it makes for easy transportation. I am shooting 2" groups from 75 yards with hornady leverevolution ammo. My only complaint about the rifle is the lever. When closed, there is a significant amount of side to side wobble. Also the action could be smoother, but I probably just need to break it in more. In closing the 1892 Takedown is a great rifle and in 357 mag it is fairly inexpensive to shoot. (Posted on 3/18/13)
